Week 8 Progress

Cards on the table, I have not been sticking to the weekly plan that I have constructed. Many times, I'll do some of the assigned reading/writing and then revisit where I had left off. Also, if I get into a real groove of reading/writing on a Tuesday, for example, I will try to go ahead and knock out Wednesday. This is owed to me feeling like my best work arrives in brief spurts. So this sort of dictates my schedule in favor of the traditional 6-8 pm routine every weeknight. However, I have been taking advantage of the extra credit. I am proud to say that I have completed at every type of extra credit assignment at least once. I always take Saturday to do this, unless its a game day. Then, say the game is at 3, I will wake up at 8, work until about 1 and then take back up on Sunday afternoon. Furthermore, I have been pleased with my performance in this course since I am on pace to earn an A . And I have learned many things. And I am pleased to say that I not only learned about Indian culture, which is obviously top priority, but I have also learned a TON about life, other interests and technology that I will be able to utilize in the future. And the best part is that I have received credit for these things! However, looking forward, I am going to try and complete more of the intended week assignments. Lately, I have not had the chance to complete many of them with other classes and work. And while I still get to enjoy the reading and writing, I want to try to make the other assignments a priority as well.

This is so accurate! Motivation is key, but a deadline also adds some incentive!
