I found these quotes on Padlet “Teachers should move to encouragement instead of criticism. It’s so easy to put a terrible grade on the paper and leave out the efforts that were put into an assignment or test. REAL: recognize, encourage, adapt, learn.”      I feel like this quote embodies the application of growth mindset. I strongly believe that this is the way that school should be. “For years, I have been saving up Pinterest posts of beautiful calligraphy, but I have never started due to the fear that I won’t be creative enough to make such beautiful art. Growth Mindset: Week 11

One of my quotes was titled “New Learning Strategies” and the other is titled “Imagine Your Goal.” “I tend to focus mainly on my memorization which can sometimes only be for a little period of time. I need to find better ways to study in order to truly learn something and be able to apply it in a multitude of ways in order to try use my education for the betterment rather than just trying to get a grade.” “Sometimes when you run into an obstacle and you get pushed back, you start to forget why you were trying so hard in the first place so it helps to take a step back and imagine your goal.” Both quotes were interesting to me because I feel that a lot times people think success can simply be attributed to will power.
