Famous Last Words: Week 7

These are my famous last words for the seventh week of the course. First of all, I can’t believe that it is already the seventh week. This semester is almost half way over and that makes me wonder where the time goes because I’ll be graduating in the spring!!! This is pretty exciting. But anyway, I did two readings this week. I did the initial reading during the week on Tuesday. Then, I took advantage of the extra credit reading assignment, so it was like I did both. Next week, I hope that I can do both assigned readings during the week and do the extra credit as well. This will keep me on pace for an A in the course. Moreover, I really enjoyed the readings. Not that I didn’t like the last book, but I enjoy this book a lot more. The stories seem more fluid to me, making it easier to read. This is a plus, considering these stories can sometimes be hard for me to understand. However, like I said, I have really got into this book. Furthermore, it was nice to read some more things about my classmates both in this course and the mythology course. The commenting assignment really promotes interaction with each other, which is always nice. What’s more is that this in an online course where it is easy to for things to become very rigid and loose connection with others. So I think this structure helps to circumvent the coldness that some online courses fall victim to. Lastly, to conclude my last words, I vow to be more engaged this week than last (a promise that I also made last week, but I maintained). I hear that this week will be a review, which I am unfamiliar with but it sounds like it might be a refreshing change of pace.
